Depends on which branch their following, as far as I know is it is relatively anti-Christian. It's the worship of demons/the devil. It was founded by a guy named Anton LaVey, or at least the Church was an he wrote the Bible for them which is published by HarperCollins. The teachings are basically contrary to the Bible. By that I mean it's very self-centered as opposed to helping others and certain branches use black magic I believe. I don't know too much about it. I just read a little because Zondervan (a Christian book publishing company -- they publish the NIV Bible) is owned by HarperCollins which publishes their Bible which I thought was weird.
