I joined way back in 2003.
I was asked to join by the person in charge of TH back then.
They saw my homepage and thought I might be a good 'adult' influence.
And so I have been. [So I've been told!]
And YES I have often asked for help from those sooooooooooo much younger than me.
Wisdom is not bound by age. [Or sex or anything else for that matter]
I can - and have - learned things from 4 year old people and 104 year old people. [No kidding]
To be honest - I'm more comfortable at TH than I ever was a some so-called 'adult' forums.
Just as wisdom isn't bound by age - neither is ignorance. [Sadly]
I am a TH 'buddy'. I was a moderator years ago - but decided it would be more fun just to be a 'buddy'.

Can I ask you a few questions, please? One, how come you joined at such an age and how come you joined a website where everyone else is of a teenage bracket? Do you ever seek support from people who are sooooooooooo much younger than you and how does that feel?

I joined here because I was sick of hearing from the 40 Year Olds and pregnant women at my old website when I need help from people who see like I do and it was a change well worth it .

Also, what position were you before you went on leave?
