Hahah, nice. I didn't get the job. I think it has something to do with all the things I started posting after I applied . . things about slipping back into SH and deserving to die. Honestly, I don't blame them. LOL.

Hahah, I totally did the same thing. I thought it was gonna be a much bigger time commitment than I could handle, but it's not that bad.

They're kinda the same thing, but HelpLINK is more focused on giving advice. Buddies welcome new users to the site, tell them about the basic features, and make sure they feel comfortable participating in everything. Honestly, if the Buddy position hadn't been closed when I first applied to staff, I probably never would have hit HelpLINK. I love it though!! <33

Thanks. I started reading everything and the requirements, and I'm like "Oh no, I'm just gonna fail at this!!" But, then I tried it and it wasn't as hard as it seemed. lol I'm usually GREAT at giving advice. I don't know what's so different about this than just giving it. lol I'm just weird.

Hahah, congrats!! I'm sure you're gonna be great at it. I'm actually waiting for my buddy application to be processed. In a way, I feel like I'm betraying HelpLINK because it was my first staff position, but I really want to try being a Buddy. I'll still have my HelpLINK privileges though.
