My parents are like that too, and having them hanging me constantly isn't just annoying because I have a lack of freedom but because I have to listen to their stupid opinions all day every day. I'm so glad I'm home a few days before them, I need to make the most of those few days though, it's a crucial point in my transitioning because I have three or four days to express my female gender without interference from my parents. Here's hoping it'll go well. xD

You're welcome but, I'm being very honest with you I'm glad you are doing okay and I know how annoying it is to be with parents all the time, especially when they hang over you like mine literally do on vacations/trips xD I'm glad you had some freedom today though. It helps a lot to be able to take a break from some people

I'm sorry you feel as if you have a hard time finding someone to be in a relationship with. Iknow how it feels, even though I'm not trans. I'm really proud of you though for taking those big steps by coming out to some of your close friends. It's really brave of you. I don't think I would be able to do it, if it was me I totally understand being scared about opening up to your parents, especially since they sound quick go judge. Mine are quick to judge as well. My mom and dad will always turn the channel when we are watching television if there is a gay couple or anything like it. Seeing gay couples doesn't bother me at all but, they find it wrong and can be very controlling at times.

I feel the exact same way, I wish I could find someone too. Being transgender makes it harder since the amount of people I can potentially date is a lot smaller as a result. Oh well. :/ Yeah, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if my parents reacted similarly to me being trans. Like the other night, Caitlyn Jenner somehow came up in conversation and my mother kept using male pronouns and calling her "Bruce" which has made me really scared of coming out to them. ._.

Yeah, it was great news I just wish I was a bit less socially awkward so that I could possibly find someone to be with :c I feel like I'm missing out in a lot by not having been in a relationship one on one before.. ^^ You are very lucky. My parents would see me as an outcast and probably throw me out so, I'm a little scared to come out to them xD Sometimes parents can be a little overbearing though. I feel as if I need to experience things my own way and not have to hear how bad it is from my parents but that's just one of the daily struggles I'm going through.

Yeah, that was fantastic news, wasn't it? Ireland voted for marriage equality a month ago and it was amazing (even if it's only one aspect in which queer people are discriminated against). Sorry to hear about your parents though. I'm lucky in that my parents are somewhat moderate - I mean, they both voted yes in the marriage equality referendum - but I'm not sure how they feel about transgender people. I feel like they'll be disappointed in me if I come out but you know and I know that it's something I can't help. :/

I hope you are able to dye your hair and that you will have it dyed for the anime convention and Pride. ^I was really excited on 6/26 to hear that same sex marriage is now legal here in the US (although, my family is against it because of their beliefs). I haven't come out tothem. I'm honestly scared too, especially since they think I have the same faith and beliefs. Hopefully I'll find nerve enough to stand up for myself one day but, it might have to wait until I'm older xD

Well, I'm trying to get a lot of schoolwork done and this weekend is Independence Day so my family will probably have a cookout and go see some fireworks. That will be fun but, other than that, nothing really I'm hoping to dye my hair this week so I'll have purple hair for the fair next Wednesday when I go.
