For as long as they have Mario Balotelli, Carlos Tevez and even Samir Nasri to a certain extent now after what happened the other day, there's always a chance of drama being created to throw the whole club into turmoil. Clutching at straws now maybe? I can live in hope! I think the sacking of Harry Redknapp at Tottenham plays into Arsenal's hands and gives them some more time to shape things up at the club. Harry was building something good there and why he has been sacked is beyond me. In terms of the 3 to go down, I can see QPR struggling, like you said, Wigan for definite as they're always there or there abouts, Swansea could potentially struggle with second season syndrome. It's going to be a tight season that's for sure, if it's anything like the last season then it's going to be a good one with plenty of ups and downs. Last season was crazy, the bigger teams were dropping points against teams that you would usually bet your house on them picking up all 3!

I think Man City (sorry about what I'm about to say) are going to win it by a much bigger margin than this year. They will spend huge amounts of money, and Utd can't compete financially at all with them, Utd to finish 2nd, Chelsea then Arsenal for me this year. I think Norwich will struggle, but the 3 to go down will be Wigan (at last!!), and 2 of either Norwich, Sunderland, Fulham or Stoke for me!! The last 3 I mentioned I can see struggling. Sunderland if I remember finished off in relegation form, Stoke are bound to be found out by now and can't see them doing as well in previous years, Fulham have been there for years and even though they've had a few good seasons (Like the European place finish etc) I just can't see it continuing tbh. But as long as NCFC don't go down, I don't care who do ;D

I can imagine that's not such a bad job when the weather is half decent but then again we live in England so that decent weather doesn't come around too often. It's difficult to say to be honest. Chelsea have already spent big money to try and retain their Champions League crown, which is one thing United failed to do after they won it. Saying that, it seems like these are players that Abramovich wants rather than the manager. Putting lots of big names in a team doesn't always work. I think United need to buy a couple more players to bolster the squad and give it some depth. City will spend big, they always do. It's going to be an interesting season but I think it'll come down to the Manchester clubs again. How about you?

I work in a garden center lol, I worked today for the first time ever on a weekend, and spent it outside all day weeding, even in a thunderstorm LOL. I remember watching the 7-1 and thinking it was the most even 7-1 i've ever seen lol, but us norwich fans hate talking about 7-1 scorelines... how do you see this next season going?

Ah right, what's it that you do for a living? You didn't miss much last night, it was an incredibly dull game. The French didn't even turn up. They made the Spanish look good and they didn't even get out of first gear! Yeah, my family had a couple of season tickets a couple of seasons back so I've been a fair few times. I was at the game when United hammered Roma 7-1 in the Champions League back in the 06/07 season. I remember that game! We were awful and didn't deserve to win. I think the feeling was that was the turning point in our season and we would go on to win it. How very wrong!

I work till 9 every day so watching the games is difficult, but i watch bits when i can. I don't think England have a chance Tomorrow night lol. Have you ever been to a Utd game? I've seen Norwich play them twice, we won 2-0 5/6 years ago, but lost this year 2-1, but Norwich dominated lol. Even Fergie said they were incredibly lucky, and he don't say that often!! Giggs got the goal in the 94th minute to win it :/

Ah right, hopefully now that Hughton has been appointed he can convince them to stay. You're right though, you definitely need to bring some fresh faces in start for the new season not only to bolster the squad but to replace those who have departed. Saying that, it has been pretty quiet on the transfer front so far, I think the majority of clubs are waiting until after the Euros before they start making their moves. Have you been watching the tournament at all? I know what you mean about the bigger clubs. Their are far too many glory supporters around who can't even name the club's starting eleven, let alone having actually been to a game!

I've had a horrible feeling that this season is going to go majorly bad! We are rumoured to be signing Curtis Davies, and if Ruddy goes to Villa, we are trying to get Jack Butland. But apart from that, there's no other talk of players coming in yet, but we already lost Whitbread, Drury, Naughton gone back to Spurs, Wilbraham, Holts asking to leave and we have had a bid of around £6 million from West Ham for him, so we really need to start signing players sooner rather than later lol. That's a good reason to support them, too many people follow Man Utd, Liverpool etc from hundreds of miles away and they have no connection with the club, but you have a good reason to support them

I know what you mean, he didn't leave the club in a very respectful manner and rumour has it that he's now planning on raiding the club and trying to tempt some of the players to join him at Villa. It's all paper talk though I guess, you can't believe anything until the player is pictured holding the shirt on your club's website. I hope Hughton does a good job though, I really rate him as a manager and NCFC had a fantastic season last time around, hopefully they don't suffer from second season syndrome. Yeah, massively, born and raised. My dad's dad was from Manchester and he was brought up there so I've been following them from an early age.

Haha, I have seen you on a thread or two of mine before. Yeah losing Lambert was very disappointing, but the way he left has left a very sour taste in the mouth. 3 days before he left, he said he doesn't want to leave, never has and he has unfinished business here at NCFC, but then he walked out on us?! Grant Holt is now playing up, others have left, so Hughton has a big job on his hands. He is an ace manager though, so fingers crossed! I'm guessing you're a Utd fan?
