hey, with regards to the quote notification thing, there is actually a better one than that where you don't get PMs (because can you imagine how many you'd get!?) but you have a "Who Quoted me?" box that you can opt to see where quotes & the thread shows up...

they have this on another forum I visit & TH is so tedious for me now because we don't have it!

I can't add a reply but do you think you could edit your post to show the other option of "who quoted me?" Considering how much some users use TH, I don't think PMing quotes would really be the most appropriate.
