Hi For information about conics, I suggest checking out http://www.purplemath.com/modules/conics.htm - Purple Math is a great site, and this is their article on conics. If you are looking for information on a specific conic, you may want to try http://homeworkhowto.com - try searching by the proper name, such as ellipse. However, if you're looking for general information, or an overview of the topic, definitely go with Purple Math. Hope that helps

Bearing in mind that it was a question that I wanted to be answered I find I do have much more right to tell people to stay on topic than normal, it wouldn't make any sense if I didn't. And yes my last few posts may of been off topic but I believe they were explaining what I meant earlier on, in which later I explained in PM so I wasn't being hypocritical at all. And if you don't like the fact I asked to stay on topic on a thread that I created then please just leave it alone.

With all due respect I have the right to tell you to stay on topic when it is my thread I think you'll find. And I'm guessing you didn't notice the staff warnings about staying on topic either? Which I was obeying may I add.
