Hi Clary, welcome to TeenHelp!! It is really great you have come here for some support and advice. I read your blog post and love your determination to not want to self harm; that is really inspiring. If you need any help with ideas on distractions you can check here and make a post in the self harm forum. Many people can relate to what you are going through and give you some great advice and support. Also, if you are unsure of how to post or need some help figuring out the site, you can look at the sticky's at the top of this thread.
I hope you figure things out okay and if you ever need help, you can always contact any user with green names, those are buddies who help new users with any problems they may have. Also, you can contact me too and I will do my best to help.

So there is this boy, Xavi, whom I really like. He is the nicest, sweetest boy I know and is on the swim team.
The other day Xavi, several of my friends, and I were waiting for a teacher to arrive. One of my friends, Sophia, decided to show me the texts between Xavi and her. The texts basically stated that they liked each other. She knew that I liked him!
Later as we walking to lunch she showed the texts to me AGAIN!
I have no idea what to do. I have been avoiding...

It's constantly a struggle to avoid doing anything to harm myself. I have to stop whatever I am doing and tell myself that I am better than this. I am loved and have people who care about me. At times it feels like its the only way. It's not. It NEVER will be. I need to be here years from now to tell my younger brother that he shouldn't date that girl. I need to be here years from now to tell my older sister how proud I am that she graduated from college. I need to be here years from now to tell...
