- Okay guy's, this is going to be quite a read, so unless you have time on your hands, i suggest you click the back button :)
I'm 17 and i currently live in the south west, which is a small city in the south west of England, full of farms, and sadly cow poop :)
I was born as the youngest of three children, i have one older brother who is 19, and another brother who is22. As regards to my parent's, my mother is disabled (we will get onto that shortly) and my dad is her legal carer, myself and my brothers subsequently are too.
My mum has always had psychological issues, and had battled with OCD, Bi-polar and aggriphobia for the majority of her life. In 2009, my mum had a brain aneurysm, causing her to stay in a specialist hospital in Bristol for six weeks. To cut a VERY long story short, my mum is now:
Blind in one eye,
Has bad balance,
Rarely walks un-aided,
Has fatigue,
Is sound and light sensitive
And has had many severe personality changes.
To top it all off, since the age of twelve, i have had a severe hatred of myself and body. Im also currently failing alot of subjects due to school and personal stress. My parents are on the brink of getting divorced.
My life sounds like a pile of hot shit, but i wouldn't change it for a minute. I am who i am because of these events, and despite my insecurities, i'm proud of myself as a person.
