I'm the exact same! There's nothing wrong it with though, even if other people aren't interested. Personally, I love intelligent discussion, and a lot of other people our age do too. But I embrace the fact that I have interests that are kinda different!

Yeah, I've always been paranoid that people found me boring or annoying or whatever. My shyness progressed into something more serious in the form of social anxiety, which is horrible. I could be talking to someone, and I'd panicking and almost hyperventilating. It's incredibly awkward when the other person notices you're nervous and they ask what's wrong.

Yeah, joining the group in the first place was pretty hard, as I'm a very shy, unconfident person in real life, but I'm glad I did know, as I've met some truly amazing people.

Yeah, I agree. I'm happy with what I have right now, but I would like to become closer friends with the friends I have. But I only met them a few months ago through a youth group I joined, so I'm sure it'll come eventually.
