Crazy, Yeah I like surgery in general. I love life and death and I need the excitement and the adreniline of it. I'm good underpressure and never stress out. Anyway I must sleep have work in 3 hours, but my sleep pattern is all messed. Had stupid work hours yesterday... 6 am start time.... WOOT WOOT.

Only bad thing about being a Doctor, and it's not what the medical drama's make out to be in the on call room. In all the night shifts I've worked I've never once had sleep uninterupted.

Trauma Surgeon, although its very hard to get into in the UK and you have to become a consultant first and then be sent on training for that.

American Doctors over specialise and they have too little responsibility. Here in the UK we don't have specific sections we just have a general area. It's better as our day to day job is less repetitive and more fun as a result.

I want to be a surgeon though. I like cutting.

You couldn't put me down if you tried! The job I have was given to the two best students in our year. Myself and a girl, and it is doing very technical jobs. Of course all my work is checked by a Doctor but I am left alone with patients and I am free to talk to them and tell them about anything. Ranging from blood pressure to BMI.

Exaclty my point. My point was, If I am not a professional then nor are you. I have to have a licence so it makes me just as much of professional as you.

That is the litral meaning of professional, it is used in slang otherwise and is wrong.

Thanks! I'm doing really well, too. I hung out with my friend tonight, which is nice since Uni takes up all of my time.
Are you in highschool or college?

    No your misinformed.

"A professional is a person who has completed a doctoral or law program (a masters or bachelors degree does not infer a professional). The term professional is often misused. It is not to be confused with "White Collar" or "expert". A person who is white collar performs a job that requires education and does not involve physical labor. An expert is a person in a profession that requires certain types of skilled work requiring formal training or education. In western nations, such as the United States, the term commonly describes highly educated, mostly salaried workers, who enjoy considerable work autonomy, economic security, a comfortable salary, and are commonly engaged in creative and intellectually challenging work."

A professional in the litral sense is someone that has completed a doctoral or law program.

Not to be rude, but how are you a medical professional at the age of 18? What is your title?

If you take the litral sense of professional then sure you are correct.

However I'm working in a hospital with Doctors as a trainee/junior doctor on probation.

I'm giving advice like that and much much more complex than that. If I had said something wrong then sure. But I spoke about BMI and said that it was a guide line at best and that waist to hip ratio was the most accurate by far.

This advice any health care professional would give and I know that to be true.

    About me
There are twenty-one candles on my birthday cake. I'm in college and I plan on getting my paramedic as well. I'm a Christian;; and I love my God. My favorite bible verse is [Jeremiah 29:11; "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."] I support my troops whole-heartedly. I don't always support everything our government does but I love my troops and I pray for their safety. I bowl;; and yes, bowling is a sport. I wear a pump, and a pager. I love the rain and I really like ♥love songs♥. I honestly don't give a damn if you like me; or if you don't. I don't live my life to please you. I ride the ambulance as an EMT and I love it;; I'm also a 911 police dispatcher. My friends are the best out there and nobody could possibly have better ones than I do. My favorite foods might just be flamin' hot Cheetos and ramen noodles in a cup (chicken flavored, please), my drinks of choice are diet Cheerwine, Sprite Zero and diet Dr. Pepper, and just in case you wanted to know, I’m a Steelers and Red Sox fan. I’m going to change lives, and save lives on the side, and you are going to flip my burgers if you don’t grow the Hell up. I like ♥Kutless, Casting Crowns, Keith Urban, and the colors pink, green, and navy blue. My favorite authors are Jodi Picoult and Nicholas Sparks; I want to meet them. I need to work on being more decisive—but here’s something that I do know; Different is good. One day I’m moving to Italy;; I’ll see you there. ♥
