As for the date, that's very strange. Whereabouts is this date (like, on the photo/s, underneath, etc)?

There are a few ways you can post pictures - it depends which one you want to use. For example, if you just want to post a picture, we have a section especially for that: Pictures & Albums. Or do you want to post a picture as part of a thread?

Oh okay. If you go under your user cp and customize your profile, you can change it to what you want it to be. It even lets you preview each part to make sure it's how you want it.
