you definitely are not weird. to this writer i would say you have morals and are responsible. stick to your guns. i was 18 when i had sex the first time and it was the woman i married who also was a virgin like me. we are proud of that fact and we had dated and engaged for about 9 mos. why do i believe this celibacy is important? because when i married my wife and she married me, neither of us married for physical reasons, it was all internal, emotional, mental. sex was not a driving factor at all. she was a gorgeous strawberry blonde and i was a rock/roll drummer and today we are still together while most all the friends who we knew who were promiscuous and "physical" are divorced. hope this helps :-)
