Childhood friend that stays forever, furry companion, constant listener and always a shoulder to cry on.
A constant member of the family no matter the age of the family.
Loving the moments when her family would hold her close, the times when she’d go on a walk around the ridge to discover nature and the leftovers that her family can no longer keep and feed her as a constant treat.
Feeling loved as long as she is near her family, feels the sense of the chase when stalking grasshoppers in the backyard and feeling the sorrow on that final car ride.
Giving those happy greetings after a long day away from home, giving you that cold wet nose telling you that it’s time to wake up and giving it all she’s got to make sure that her kids aren’t in any danger.
Who fears the thought of losing her kids for any period of time, fears the sound of anything close to a gunshot and like any other pet, those dreaded visits to the vet.
Bounding around the backyard like a young puppy at the sight of her family, getting excited when getting out to the farm and knowing that she’s in a good place and loves to see her kids happy.
One that has now crossed over that rainbow bridge waiting for the rest of us to follow.
