I can't say that I've been feeling amazingly spectacular this past week because I've been finding it difficult to cope with the truth about people and relationships in high school, and coping with being single and alone..because of that, I missed school for a few days even though I had something important to take care of (dentist appointment and taking care of things for college). I keep forgetting that I have people who truly do care about me, but all it just takes is reassurance and being around the people that care to keep me content with myself. I may be single and alone right now, but I'm okay with that, and I've accepted that feeling because for so long, I kept denying what I've been really feeling deep down inside. I know love will find its way to me, but in the meantime, I'm just continuing to build myself up to become the man that I've always been meant to become.

I'm so sorry to hear about what you went through Beth; I can't imagine how traumatizing that must've been for you to experience. Well, like most of us on here have been saying, just make sure you talk to a professional about this. It will take a while to get over, but with time, patience, and diligence, you'll be fine eventually. Congrats to your fiance coming home; I'm sure you're more than happy to see him. I hope in time, you'll feel better about this, but understand that none of this was your fault. It's unfortunate to say this, but there's not much that you could've done to prevent him from doing what he did. Ultimately, he made his own choice, and you had nothing to do with that. I understand it's hard to look at it that way, but over the course of time, hopefully you'll realize that.
