No, that was my father. He played ball as a child (before his accident) as well as running cross country. He signed me up for tball, then I took a year off (because my mother did not know that they had softball for younger girls!), then he signed me up for softball. He made me practice a lot as a child. I never wanted to tell him no, so I always did it. It's made me a lot better though.

Both of my grandparents were never really able to do a lot of things like that. My grandfather was always busy, always doing something. My Nanny was the homemaker, she kept everything in line.

They started keeping me when I was about six months old. My babysitter had left a handprint on me because I climbed on something I shouldn't have, so they took me out of daycare.

I never have that feeling. We have ONE TV hooked up to cable in our whole house. I don't get to watch a lot of TV. I do try to catch one show a week.

My grandparents are pretty awesome. My Nanny will buy me anything that I want. She spoils me rotten. My Pa Pa kinda gets on my nerves. He's old and very picky, he can drive you nuts. He's also impatient.

I've taken it on bus trips, on vacation, I take it to my grandparent's house, to friend's houses, anywhere really. I usually end up watching TV at my grandmother's or at a friend's and I enjoy curling up with my knitting as I watch. I might as well do something productive while I watch.

My grandparents raised me and they are very, very old fashioned so I was raised by the old saying, "You don't need nothing if you can't make it with your own two hands." They are also fond of "The devil dreams on an idle horse." So I was always doing something as a child and that has stuck with me.

Dance is a good form of exercise, therefore productive.
