- My name is Aurora and yes my mom named me after Sleeping Beauty. Everyone calls me Rory or Tutu though. I have been doing Ballet since the age of 4 and I will be turning 15 on Christmas day. I am from Ontario, Canada but attend school at one of the best Ballet schools in the country in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the United States so the majority of the year I am away from my mom and that is hard. Other than Ballet I also like music which is mostly Pop music. At the age of 11 I started to struggle really hard with my body image and started not eating to stay really thin. It got out of control to the point I had to go into the ED Unit for adolescents at the hospital. From the age of 11 to the age of 13 I was in that unit 3 times. I have been dealing with my ED better since my last trip but it is still very difficult and I check my weight everyday and count calories but I do not starve myself anymore.
