Interactivity on Discord
Suggestions for more channels to engage users.
I would like to propose a suggestion to create more engagement on TeenHelp's Discord server. Perhaps there could be channels such as:
• Poll/Question of the day — the chat buddies or moderators can create a daily poll.
• Funny/relatable pictures — users can share a picture or meme, as long as it's SFW.
• Entertainment themed — posts and discussion about TV shows, movies, and music.
I notice that more users are inclined to use the Discord server than come on the forums.

funny/relatable could be named 'memes' or just funny-relatable
Entertainment themed channel could just be called 'entertainment' or so. anime/manga, movies, video games, etc
Question of the day/poll sounds fine to me as is
Need ways for people to chat more in the Discord chat room and this sounds like a good start.

Actually, after being in the works for a couple weeks. We just added a new Poll of the Week channel today.
As for the others, we have current ideas in the works that would implement certain aspects of these. So keep an eye out for them! I believe one of them will appear in June.

Just to add to Sarah's answer above, we now have introduced:
- Poll of the week
- #uplifting channel
- Topics of the month
- A series of events & discussions
We are creating discussions & events we think would be interesting, but please suggest what you'd like to discuss each month, e.g. poll ideas, topic ideas etc.
