It looks like the tables have turned, and I'm not mad about it. He did it to teach me a lesson about how hard your job is; and I ended up proving to them what I've known from day 1. That I'm absolutely capable of doing it, and it's not as hard as you're making it.

This documents in writing that I want to talk to him, lets you know that, and also lets you set aside the time for me. This should not concern you if you have done your job. But, this is absolutely my last resort. If he can't make anything happen, I'm done. Probably should've been years ago.

Yes, I called off for the second time in 2 years, because the thought of dealing with you all night, when I'm already sick, and probably won't sleep well, was not appealing. Have fun doing everything yourself for once. I hope you have a bad enough night to finally appreciate me.
Interesting that almost everyone but you checked on me. Including the managers who just had surgery and another with a family emergency.

Stop making mountains out of molehills, and most of this will go away.
This is going to end with me walking out of a shift. But after over 6 months of trying everything, you've stopped listening and enough is enough.
I have a feeling I'll give up long before any of that happens. Maybe not because I can't do it, but because it'll take too long.

Hey cousin,
Stop telling my brother who I have a weak relationship with everything that I have confided in you. In particular, you seem to share everything embarrassing that I did/has happened to me. It has gotten quite ridiculous and there is need to "catch up (my brothers) visiting from another state every single negative or embarrassing thing they havent heard about". For example there was no reason to tell my brother that in September I got so drunk at a bar that I had to have my parents pick me up. I feel like it is a betrayal and I am going to stop hanging out with you.

I can tell you're REALLY struggling. I hate that for you and wish I could help. Seeing this side of you is relatively new for me, you don't have to tell me anything you don't want to, but don't be afraid to ask for what you need. I guarantee the support is there.

Had you not blindsided me, I could've told you that everything you said worked both ways. If they go through with this, you won't have me to blame when your shifts go to hell. So, have fun. I won't bring it up unless they do, but I could also tell management everything. But again, once I can't be blamed, they'll see that I wasn't wrong.

So, she's allowed to be a bitch according to multiple people, and get promoted, but I can't be promoted and remain sarcastic, which appears to bother no one. Just tell me to get taller and we can move on with life. If I weren't sarcastic, I would 100% be fired for the words you said you WANT to come out of my mouth. Non-sarcastic does NOT mean happy and amazing like you think it does, but if you let me be myself, you'll find that out real quick.

I can only hope that you'll finally see what I'm talking about and appreciate everything I do. You say it, but I'm not sure you REALLY get it. But, if you don't fully appreciate me now, you might never.
There is NO WAY you could argue that it's fair. It's probably supposed to be, when done right, but that ship sailed long ago. You're going to deal with this; or I'm complaining daily until you do.

I miss her so much and I hate that she has to focus so much of her time on her partner. I really don't have the lived experience or am able to comprehend fully how challenging this can be for someone that recently had this type of surgery and new acceptance of who they are.

Well, he's gone, you're wrong about everything else you said, and the only one left throwing tantrums after all these changes is you. I don't think the problem is everybody else. And even if this is a stress response, that doesn't give you the right to take it out on me, or anyone else you now outrank. At least I vent up.

We come to an understanding, or I talk to your boss. You may be doing fine, but every single member of your team is struggling. And if your continued response to that is to dismiss us, claim everything is fine, and continue in the same way, that's a problem. It's time to step up for us. Circumstances have changed, my team needs me, plans have changed; period.
Here's the problem with that though: Despite what you may think, you are NOT in charge (mostly due to this behavior!) Therefore, I DON'T HAVE to justify to you what I do or don't get done, under circumstances you know NOTHING about, and REFUSE to deal with YOURSELF.
