Re: self harm helpline bullsh!t

Hi, my understanding of hotlines/helplines was that you could within reason use them as often as you need. I know with some if you call them more than a couple of times a day they do sometimes suggest you try distractions etc but I can't imagine a helpline turning you away.
It's great that you spoke to your therapist.
Also you can use the helpline, and chatroom and the forums here on TeenHelp as much as often as you need to, theres a support and advice channel/room within in the chatroom which you may also find useful.

Hi, I'm sorry that this has happened and I hope that you will be okay soon. Try finding something fun to do to help you to get your mind off of this for a while. That can be watching funny movies or TV shows or drawing or coloring or playing a game or talking to a friend or going for a while or baking or something else that you enjoy. I hope things get better for you

Hello, I am sorry about what you are going through and I hope that you will be okay soon. Sometimes some helplines like to know how many times you or someone else comes on so that they can try to help you and everyone else as much as they can or you may get the same person who you talked to before and they remember you and want to help you more. Try some of these helplines to help you talk to someone when you need help. It is, http://www.teenhelp.org/resources/ I hope that you will be okay soon.
