Re: Nail polish?

As it has been mentioned, it definitely sounds like it could be an ingredient in the cheaper nail polishes. This has not happened to me with any nail polishes, but I do have very sensitive skin and cannot wear certain jewelry because of hypersensitivity to it, which may be what you are experiencing with these nail polishes.

Re: Nail polish?

I was also thinking the same thing. Maybe there is an ingredient in the cheaper nail polish that reacts with your body.

Re: Nail polish?

I would suggest looking up the product detail if you are able to. As Dez said, it might be an issue of what's in the ingredients of cheaper nail polish that isn't there in the nail polish you normally use. Also, I am not sure if they would do this because I never go to them, ask a nail technician if they can help you figure out the issue. They might recommend you use something before applying the nail polish. I totally get you wanting to swap out with your friends, that sounds like so much fun! But don't do it if it continues to give you pain and there are no solution to it.

Re: Nail polish?

I don’t have this but I’m wondering if there’s an ingredient in the cheaper nail polishes that your body just doesn’t like. There might be poor quality ingredients that your body reacts to that aren’t in the expensive ones.

Nail polish?

I am wondering if this happens to anyone else.

I paint my nails all the time, all different colors and for some reason when I have borrowed nail polish from my friends or bought cheaper nail polish, after I put it on, after about five minutes my nails hurt so much that I have to take it off fast and I can't have any on for a few days and I can only buy expensive nail polish, this never hurts me. All of my friends swap nail polish back and forth and I always say I can't because it hurts my nails. I was just wondering about this because my friends don't have to buy the more expensive nail polish.
