Hey, really interesting to hear what the seasons are like in Australia! Fortunately, it almost never gets above 90F where I live in the northeastern US. But the days it does, it's so oppressive! Our winters can get pretty cold, especially in the last few years. Not sure what's going on with that, but one year we must have gotten at least twenty polar vortexes; I think that's something only exists in the northern hemisphere!
We just endured a major blizzard. This is the second major snowstorm this season, we had a severe one about a month ago but it wasn't as bad as this. Here, we had power outages, downed trees, and there's been a driving and parking ban in effect. Going to be a long time to do repairs, but I'm just grateful I have power now.
