Hey, really interesting to hear what the seasons are like in Australia! Fortunately, it almost never gets above 90F where I live in the northeastern US. But the days it does, it's so oppressive! Our winters can get pretty cold, especially in the last few years. Not sure what's going on with that, but one year we must have gotten at least twenty polar vortexes; I think that's something only exists in the northern hemisphere!


We just endured a major blizzard. This is the second major snowstorm this season, we had a severe one about a month ago but it wasn't as bad as this. Here, we had power outages, downed trees, and there's been a driving and parking ban in effect. Going to be a long time to do repairs, but I'm just grateful I have power now.

I dress for comfort. But someone stole my jacket so no warmth for me I gusess. I'm so angry

I'm not looking for a regular job that makes you do business casual ahah

I have a visiting nurse come every day for my meds and some part of my brain says I can’t wear pajamas around them haha. I dunno why.

I have a T-shirt as my base layer most of the time during the winter, sometimes a flannel. Summer is usually tank tops and bicycle shorts.

What is summer like in Australia? Soon, it'll be fall there! Autumn is my favorite season, but I imagine Autumn in Australia is very different than it is here. Do you have specialty beverages, food, or other themes where you are? Do you get any foliage? I have a hard time imagining fall foliage in the southern hemisphere for some reason.

Haha I would not know how to dress for that mess. I hate layering anything beyond a t shirt and hoodie.

The weather keeps saying different things about the snow too and I don’t know what to believe. Perks of living where I do I guess!
