I think it's great that you are giving this a try! It doesn't work for everyone, and I know that some people find other things work better in place of the butterflies (so you could always try that). I tried this at one time, and it worked for a little while, but personally, I found it more helpful to write the names of the people that I knew cared about me instead of drawing butterflies.
