Re: Silly tattoo questions - October 28th 2012, 01:21 PM

As mentioned already, foot tattoo's tend to be more painful, and tend to fade more quickly since you have shoes (and socks) to wear. My sister has a tattoo on the top of her foot, and due to always having to wear shoes (mostly in the Winter since we're from Chicago), it's faded quite a bit over the years, and probably needs to be re-done eventually.

However, having tattoo's should be no indication on how other's treat you. I have two tattoo's, and some co-workers of mine actually have visible tattoo's and we work in a setting when we are around clients and potential clients almost 100% of the time. They are "supposed" to cover them up, but our clients have actually given my co-workers compliments on their ink before, and nobody has ever complained to our manager about visible tattoo's. Having a tattoo doesn't make who you are. I have two, and I'm very proud of the two I have. They may not be visible, but I know I have them and my co-workers have seen them before when I was in street clothes at work. Tattoo's are much more widely accepted in this day and age.

I may wear the glass slippers; But my hero wears combat boots <3 I love you, Lieutenant
