I volunteered at a family fun day thing and although there weren't many families that came, I loved helping out. Also, nearly all the other volunteers actually helped because they wanted to, not because they just needed hours for a club (which is usually the case). And I didn't know any of them but they were all nice to me and actually talked to me so I didn't feel as hated by everyone for once.
