Poem: Thousand pieces - August 28th 2012, 07:38 AM

Hi, this is just a quick poem I threw together The language might be a little inappropriate. Enjoy!

---

I'm broken into a thousand pieces,
tiny fragments of myself.
I was too absorbed in you,
and you thought only of yourself.

I'm sure you had your reasons,
I certainly had mine.
You had to put your foot down,
and I had to draw the line.

I just never thought you'd break my heart,
and leave me there to bleed.
I bet you believed it for the better,
and that your puppet would feel freed.

Congratulations, adieu,
don't bother coming back.
You said you wanted to be alone,
in truth, you'd found better luck in the sack.

I guess you found someone better,
a freer, lovelier girl.
Your happiness is what I put first,
even though it made me want to hurl.

---

Let me know what you thought!
