you will never hear me
my sweet talk, voice too soft
devour my speech, you pick it apart
pick those words apart, take them down
a stammer doesn't clue you in
the blue-eyed gleam revolves in a riddle
a gap in my smile
lips that tremble, and you don't know why
so nice and smart, you should really be ashamed
of all the things you never got to say
stars, you can't find their constellations
but on their own they dazzle the same
the big ball of fire you always miss
but those stars blink and ignorance is bliss
blissfully yours, rightfully mine
not worth your time, not worth my mind
a thousand words you'll never read
something lost, you'll never find
