By definition, yes rape does count as losing your virginity.
And yes, this does mean that you can't lose your virginity to a person of the same sex.

I also think think it's a load of bollocks when people talk about 'mental virginity' or whatever, virginity is a physical thing NOT a mental thing. To say it's a mental thing is just idiotic.
