Well, society believes that losing your virginity is vaginal penetration, so yeah. It's kind of fucked up, but shit happens.

To counter that viewpoint, people develop two different types of virginity to help them feel better about it, though. I think there's spiritual and physical virginity. Physically, when you're raped, you lose your virginity but you'll still consider yourself a virgin spiritually.
