Innocent people, including children, are shot and killed every day. There are plenty of cases when the murderer goes unpunished. It happens so often, and it's sad. What bothers me is that this one case is getting so much attention, when this has happened before so many times. I'm just not understanding why so many people are making such a huge deal out of this particular case. Don't get me wrong here, I know it's a tragedy what happened, and I feel so sorry for his family, but what is it about this particular case that has everyone all over the states so riled up?
Its a big deal because a local college brought it to the authorities real attention. I feel like he should have been put in jail for 20 ears just because he took the life of a young boy.
