I don't know what brands of pads you have in your country, but here we have Libra Invisibles - they're very thin, like 3mm or something like that, so you barely know they're there, meaning you feel much less like people can tell and so forth. I didn't really feel comfortable with pads until I found those. And I still only wear tampons if it's the only option - for example, if I'm swimming, or going for a bike ride, where pads are impractical.

La la laaa. See if you can find any pads that are designed to be really thin, but still comfortably and abosorbent.
