Zoloft is an antidepressant but is also used to treat anxiety disorders and OCD. But because everybody is different and some meds work better than others for different people, the fact that it is an antidepressant doesn't necessarily mean it will treat your depressive episodes if they come back. Talk to your doctor or psychiatrist about it, and in the meantime, don't worry
