It could really repel some girls. But most times being an utter jerk repels girls the quickest.
Honestly a lot of girls I've met love it when a guy can listen. Also being quiet is a good thing. You'll learn more about her. And sure short answers are good. But some girls would rather have a good sized answer on it. So she can learn about you.
