Not trying to be rude, but there's a reason most 15 year olds don't have tattoos. Most tattoo artists won't tattoo anyone that young even if it is legal in that state because what sounds good at 15, won't when you're older. A fellow tattoo artist at my shop and I were actually talking about this earlier today when he was telling me what he wanted when he was that age. He's glad he didn't do it.

As for getting kanji, make 100% sure it's the correct translation. I can't tell you how many times people come in with stories of their kanji being wrong and it can't be fixed. Just make sure it's 100% what you want and that it's correct from a good source. Again, not trying to be rude, just trying to be helpful...I'm a tattoo apprentice at a shop and I've been in the industry for a while and I see the kanji issues a lot.
