Sad to see him go on health grounds, and he clearly played a significant role in Apple's resurgence from the brink. However, I'll be happy if this spells an end to Apple's recent litigation frenzy, of which Jobs seemed to be one of the major playmakers. Taking out patents for things you can't even patent (concepts rather than actual designs, for example) and using the courts to stifle competition leaves a very sour taste in my mouth, and the sooner that goes the better.

However bleak things seem, however insurmountable the darkness appears, remember that you have worth and nothing can take that away.
