Technically, you're only supposed to be baptized once, but I know there are people who are rebaptized if they decide to change religions. I know for Catholicism the baptism is meant to wash away the original sin that a baby is born with because of Adam and Eve, I don't know about other religions though. You're supposed to follow the religon you're baptized in for life and not change it, but I don't know many people who do that.
