Summers are a strange, lonely time for me as well. Popular opinion tends to attribute that to winter, and describe summer as a time of fun and companionship instead. I like it when our smaller voice gets a say, too.
I think there is something to be learned from every experience of suffering. Perhaps not in the present moment, but eventually. What doesn't kill us will always make us stronger. No tears are ever shed in vain.
