Wow, that's really low :/

My mother didn't have a gambling addiction, but she just overall was not a good mother. She did a lot of drugs and got pregnant young so even though she was technically the "adult" I always felt we were on a pretty even playing field because she was really immature. The best thing I ever did was move out. All we did was fight and butt heads until I left, and now we talk once or twice a week for a few minutes just to stay in touch and our relationship couldn't be better. Sorry this happening (and has been happening, I can only imagine how rough its been on you), but just try and count down the days until uni and cut of her access to your funds. I'm sure you'll still worry about her, but once your out her addiction will become her problem and not yours.
