I understand your concern here, but if you get your friends permission then I see no reason why it would be of any problem to her. If you say she has moved on, then it's likely she'll be okay with you seeing her ex as long as he makes you happy, so as long as it's okay with her and you and this guy are happy, I see no reason why it would ruin your friendship.
