Hey,

I believe that going to the police is a very good idea in cases where you where either raped/abused or you believe that you may have been raped/abused. If you are unsure, the police will investigate the case for you and find out the truth. It's their job to do things like that. Even though not all rapists get convicted, it is important to get as many of them convicted as possible so that they can't rape anyone else. I am a huge advocate of people going to the police after rape/abuse/possible rape/possible abuse.
