Personally, I don't advise it. This is just me. I've never felt comfortable with meeting someone online and 'dating' them. You can't really date someone you've met online. If they live close by to where you both can meet up at times, but dating someone includes showing romantic gestures (such as hugging and kissing). Which, obviously, you can't do over the internet. Plus, you can't really get to know someone over the internet. It takes a lot more than just talking to someone to know them.
