So, I really dont have a lot of experience with this stuff but, thought id help considering im trying to get off of my own addiction right now, video games. So far, I have found the best thing is to find things that take your mind off of it and make it so you physically cant do it while your doing the new activity. My example is I have started doing all my homework and reading instead of my video games, not as enjoyable but im getting something done and keeping my mind off of it.
It seems like you connected everything back to the eating urge and then the self-confidence issue after you have eaten. Honestly, stopping the urge to eat a specific food is probably going to be hard, try only keeping 1-2 servings of any 1 kind of food around the house. And if you do end up eating to much, try push-ups instead of throwing up, burn calories in a healthy way.
Once again, i am not experienced with this stuff, just throwing my opinions out there, hope they help you.
