I see. I'm a Child Passenger Safety Technician, so this is something I'm very passionate about. It really doesn't look like an infant seat I've ever seen because of the harness. The harness should look like a seat belt material. It should go over both of her shoulders and the chest clip should be at armpit level. While rear facing, the straps must be at or below her shoulders, not above. If you were to get in an accident with her like that, there is no way that she would stay in the seat. I'm just saying this because I care a lot about the safety of babies, toddlers, and young children in the car. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Could you take a picture of the seat for me? It looks like a swing or bouncy seat thing to me from the picture, but I could be wrong.

Once again, I don't mean to over step my boundaries. I just have a general concern for babies in the car because parents don't always recognize how easy it is to have the seat installed incorrectly or the baby not in it properly.

There is always hope. PM me anytime.
