I never skipped the sugar pills with mine, so I don't know if that would make a difference, but I'm going to go with it won't since she's still taking the hormones - just on a daily basis without a break. However, I don't know if it's exactly healthy for her to keep doing that to miss her period. Maybe someone knows more on that though...

My doctor told me that few very very lucky women can skip for a whole year. Me I've never been able to go more than three months without my body saying, nope no more skipping now it's time. But there's no harm in skipping.
To the
OP if you are really concerned you should ask her not to skip this month and then see if it comes. And if it doesn't then take another test. It wouldn't hurt anything and it would put your mind at ease.
