Reverend Maynard:
It's just the very process of music itself. OK lets take a guitar, or a piano. The piano is this big structure, that's been honed and twisted, and the wood has been bent into a certain shape. You take these strings, and stretch them out very tight. And you have these little hammers, that you strike, and hit them. So everything about them is very violent. A tense process, but the result, and release is the art. All the struggle you've gone through, to get that breath. So, there's a very good argument that life in general, that struggle, that process - is necessary.
Life is a waterfall,
we're one in the river,
and one again after the fall.
We drink from the river,
then we turn around and put up our walls.
When you lose small mind,
you free your life.
When you free your eyes,
eternal prize.
