This best friend doesn't sound like the type of person I would want to be friends with. Perhaps you should talk to her about it. I mean, of course it's not her fault that she's getting all of the attention, but at least talk to her about how she left you. You should look into finding more friends, no matter how hard it might seem, because this girl just doesn't seem like the best one. There is always a chance, though, that maybe she realizes your depression and doesn't think she can handle it.
