Them: Why are you a vegetarian?
Me: I'm against the inhumane treatment and slaughter of animals.
Them: *scoff*
Me: Why'd you ask if you're just gonna scoff?
Mom: Why aren't you talking?
Me: Got nothing to say.
Mom: Don't isolate and push people away. *launches into a rant about depression, etc.*
Me: ......
Them: What music do you like?
Me: Ani Difranco
Them: Who is that?
Me: She's a folk singer from the 90's who sings about world issues.
Them: *scoff* feminist
Mom: What'd you eat?
Me: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Mom: What'd you have?
Me: food
Mom: Have you lost weight?
Me: No
Mom: You sure?
Me: yes....
