What Lizzie said is pretty much spot on. There might be a matter of fact as to which set of beliefs, if any, is correct, but there's no way for us to ever know. What's important isn't the factual truth, but that you find a set of morals and values that you feel are important, then if you like you can pick a religion or title that matches those values, or you can just live your life as you think best without worrying about it.
So no, there's no direct evidence for or against the existence of god, nor do I think there ever will be.
The atoms that make up you and me were born in the hearts of suns many times greater than ours, and in time our atoms will once again reside amongst the stars. Life is but an idle dalliance of the cosmos, frail, and soon forgotten. We have been set adrift in an ocean whose tides we are only beginning to comprehend and with that maturity has come the realization that we are, at least for now, alone. In that loneliness, it falls to us to shine as brightly as the stars from which we came.
