Re: when can i find out i am pregnant - November 23rd 2009, 11:01 PM

Not trying to be rude but, my personal opinion is... stop trying to have a baby at 17. I know it's hard for anyone who hasn't experienced it first hand to take this advice but having a baby is the hardest thing you will ever go through, and almost impossible at your age. How do you plan on taking care of him? You need to think of your future child in this situation and not yourself. It's important to be financially and emotionally stable before trying for a baby. I'm 21 and am struggling to handle a newborn, juggling school work and a marriage, and worrying about finances and my son's well being.

I feel like a lot of teenagers don't look past pregnancy and the early months of having a baby. Pregnancy is not all about having the cute belly and feeling the kicks inside of you... it's uncomfortable and stressful. And after labor is all done, you have an 18+ year commitment to your little one to think about.

Just give it some thought before continuing to try.
