We cling to music, to poems, to quotes and to art because we desperately don't want to be alone. We want to know we aren't going crazy, and that someone else feels exactly how we're feeling. We want someone to explain the things we can't. We loved everything tied up. Neat, easy and simple, and when we can't do that, it scares the hell out of us. To not know the next step, where you're headed, kills. Being unsure isn't in our plan, but it's those moments, the ones where you step unknowingly into the future and it assures us that life is larger than we ever knew.
